TOMAH, Wis. – First-responders used their Jaws of Life tool to cut a woman out of her overturned car on Highway 131 near Gopher Avenue in the South Side. Crystal Gilbertson, 29, of Norwalk, was taken to a hospital. The accident happened 3:30 p.m. Deputies said a northbound car driven by Michael Betts, 54, of Sparta, crossed the centerline and hit Gilbertson’s oncoming Jeep Patriot. Her vehicle went off the road and into a ditch where it rolled on its side. Betts was arrested for drunken driving.
