MADISON, Wis. – Former four-term Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson won’t run again for governor. He’s 80. Thomspon has been touted in Republican circles as a possible challenger to incumbent Democrat Tony Evers. The leading Republicans  in a crowded GOP field:

> Rebecca Kleefisch, of Concord, former lieutenant governor.

> Kevin Nicholson, of Pewaukee, a combat veteran.

> Timothy Ramthun, of Campbellsport, a state representative.
