MADISON, Wis. — Three ardent Trump supporters who filed a federal lawsuit alleging widespread fraud in absentee voting in Wisconsin have dropped the lawsuit. Their lawyer, citing attorney-client privilege, declined to discuss the change of mind. The lawsuit had sought to exclude election ballots in Milwaukee, Dane and Menominee counties. The three counties went strongly for Trump challenger Joe Biden, who defeated Trump by about 20,500 votes in the state. Dozens of similar Trump suits in battleground states have been rejected by the courts for insufficient evidence.
