WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – On the eve of their state convention, Wisconsin Republicans are reeling at a savage attack from their party leader – Donald Trump. The former president accused party leaders online as “working hard to cover up election corruption.” Said Trump: “Don’t fall for their lies!” Trump is still smarting at losing Wisconsin in the 2020 election and blames vote fraud, even though every ballot review has found only 27 cases of possible voter fraud out of nearly 3.3 million votes. He lost by 20,600 votes. In his latest ploy to overturn the Wisconsin results, Trump has pushed for an external audit, as his supporters are attempting in Arizona. Trump said in his Friday statement that the state party leadership is “actively trying to prevent “a forensic audit.

> Assembly Speaker Robin Vos of Rochester.
If Republicans don’t do more, they’ll be voted out of office, Trump said.
Was Trump snubbed?
Trump has made select appearances at stater Republican conventions. Whether he had been invited to the Wisconsin convention has never been announced. The party leadership has been divided on a strategy of embracing Trump as the 2022 election approaches or to embrace him.
