WINONA, Minn.—The WAPS Foundation, which raises money for Winona schools, has given $103,000 from two events to upgrade classroom technology. The money is from four-kilometer Donut Dash event and a dinner on May 11. Nearly 400 people registered for the run. The Beatles-themed dinner had trivia games and auctions. Merchants Bank and WNB Financial were lead sponsors.  Funds will buy smartboard interactive tools that allow teachers and students to edit and annotate directly on large screens with a stylus or finger.
