ASHWAUENON, Wis. – A gunman killed two people at a casino restaurant, seriously wounded a third. and then was killed by police. The surviving victim was airlifted 120 miles to a hospital trauma center in Milwaukee. The shooting was about 7:30 p.m. at the tribally owned Oneida Casino and adjacent Radisson Hotel near the Green Bay airport. Sheriff’s officer Kevin Pawlak said that it seemed to be a targeted attack but the target was not there. “He decided to still shoot some of the victim’s friends or co-workers, it appears,” Pawlak said. Names of the gunman, the shooting victims and the target were not were immediately released, but Pawlak sad the shooter was a former employee. One witness reported hearing 20 to 30 shots, this apparently after police arrived.
