ELBA, Minn. — The recovery of the woman shot in a rifle attack in Elba last week is progressing well at a Rochester hospital. Winona County Sheriff Ron Ganrude said he understood the woman’s vision is returning. Swelling around the eye is receding, he said. The woman’s car took seven shots Tuesday night. Pieces of glass from her shattered windshield entered one eye.
