WINONA, Minn. – For Fire Prevention Week the Winona Fire Department has open-house tours of the Central Station. An aerial truck demonstration is planned. So too a look at other fire-fighting apparatus and equipment. Details: Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1077 West Broadway Street. On hand will be Sparky the Fire Dog. Kids can enter a drawing for three kids to get a ride home from school in a fire truck with their brothers and sisters.
