WINONA, Minn. – A man in trouble in Rochester on a  shoplifting charge decided to give Winona a try. Ross Allan Kusnierz, 39, of LaCrosse, was charged with taking $300 in merchandise from the Winona Walmart. A store detective told police that Kusnierz was stopped with a cart loaded with unreciepted items outside the store, then drove off. Police spotted him on a nearby street, stopped the car, and discovered that his driver license had been revoked, that he had no car insurance, and that there was a warrant for his arrest from an Olmsted County for failing to appear in court a shoplifting charge there.
