VIOLA, Minn. – A Rochester man was crushed and mortally injured under a 40-foot tree that snapped in Wednesday’s major windstorm. Keith Dickman, 65, was pronounced dead at a Rochester hospital. Witnesses told deputies that Dickman was making lefsa with frends and went outside for a smoke. When a tornado siren went off, everybody else went into the basement and realized then that Dickman was not among them.  When the siren stopped, one of them went looking for Dickman and found him next to his truck underneath the tree. This was about 8 p.m. in the 3500 block of Collegeview Road East in Haverhill Township between Viola and Rochester. Deputies said the tree broke about 10 feet up.
