BYRON, Minn. – A trucker escaped injury when strong wind caught his semi-trailer and swept it off Highway 14 near Byron. Eugene Richard Pittman, 55, of Mankato, was towing the trailer behind his 2020 Freightliner tractor. He was headed east toward Rochester. This was about 7:50 p.m.
Highway 14 blocked. Driver unhurt.
