WINONA Minn. – The Winona School Board unanimously approved high school junior Ruby Hetzel as a back-up student representative on the board. Hetzel will serve as a replacement for meetings that the current student member, senior Ella Skranka, is unable to attend. Hetzel was one of four students interviewed for the position. The Board has had a non-voting student representative since 2019.
