WINONA, Minn.  –The Winona School Board voted unanimously to cancel a contract for a uniformed police officer to provide high school security. The decision followed a Winona Post revelation about in a hush-hush state complaint about excessive policing. There were also complaints earlier this week at School Board listening session. School Board member School board member Allison Quam said she had 85 emails about policing in recent days, with only four favoring a uniformed cop on duty.
