WINONA, Minn. – Crews have completed a stone stairway from the Garvin Heights trailhead. The project, led by Winona State recreation prof Eric Barnard, is at the bicycle and vehicle parking area at the bottom of the trail. The next step, Barnard said, will be wayfinding sigs along the trail and also repairs on deteriorating sections. The university’s Sustainability Committee and Green Fee. Project is helping with the trail, which is used by students.
