SAN BRUNO, Calif. — The video-sharing platform YouTube gave a heave-ho to a so-called documentary by Minnesota’s self-proclaimed “pillow guy.” YouTube said that Mike Lindell advanced false claims in the two-hour film. Lindell’s claim to fame had been his MyPillow television commercials over 15 years, but that is being eclipsed by his incessant repeating of debunked theories that the 2020 presidential election was rigged. Lindell titled the film “Absolute Proof.”

YouTube: “Per our presidential election integrity policy, we remove content uploaded after the safe harbor deadline that advances false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election. We removed this video and its reuploads in accordance with this policy.”
More setbacks
Other media also have acted to diminish the online presence of Lindell’s “Absolute Proof.” Facebook flagged the film to reduce distribution after its fact-checkers identified false claims. The Vimeo video-hosting site removed the film. The conservative One America News television channel distanced itself from the film after two voting machine companies, Dominion and Smartmatic, began lawsuits for disparaging libels.
