ST. PAUL, Minn. –  The state bonding bill signed by Governor Tim Walz includes $2 million for the Riverfront Trail project in Winona. The pedestrian-bicycle trail, as envisioned, would be built in increments along the riverfront from the Interstate Bridge to the Far East End. The funding was included in the $1.9 billion loan package that the state will use for construction and infrastructure projects statewide. Here is how southeast Minnesota legislators voted on the bonding bill:

> Jeremy Miller, R-28 (Winona).

> Mike Goggin, R-21 (Red Wing).

Against

> Steve Drazkowski, R-21B (Mazeppa).
