ST. PAUL, Minn. — A St. Paul man was sentenced to 40 months in federal prison for a role in buying guns illegally. Gabriel Young-Duncan, 28, had pleaded guilty in May. Meanwhile, some purchases have been linked to Fleet Farm stores, which have been sued by Attorney General Keith Ellison for lax practices, if not also negligence, in making such sales. According to the criminal complaint against Young-Duncan, a co-conspirator would make the purchases and pass the guns on to Young-Duncan. Dozens of firearms were acquired through the scheme. These included four Glock and two Mossberg semiautomatic pistols.
