MINNEAPOLIS — Fifty-one people were arrested outside as police station during protests after a former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of George Floyd was released on bail. The arrests culminated a peaceful march of about 300 people. When tensions rosepoilice moved in and ordered the crowd to disperse. Several people were ordered to the ground in preparation for arrest. Police said 49 of the arrests were for misdemeanors, mostly for unlawful assembly. One person was arrested for assault and another on a felony warrant.
