ATLANTA, Ga. – This summer’s mega motorcycle rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, which drew an estimated 450,000 bikers, led to dozens of coronavirus cases in neighboring Minnesota, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. The study, conducted by Minnesota health officials, counted 86 cases related to Sturgis. Of the cases, 51 were people at the event and 35 were people who later came into contact with those people. Most did not suffer serious illnesses, but four were hospitalized and one died.
