WINONA Minn. – A crook pulled a fast one on a Kwik Trip clerk, who ended up $58 short. Police said it was the old quick-change scam. The customer asked for change in certain n denominations, then confused the clerk claiming to be short-changed and kept swapping bills back and forth. The customer was gone by the time the clerk realized being duped. This was at the Kwik Trip at the Old Homer Road hotel complex.
