ST. PAUL, Minn. – The state Veterans Affairs Department is taking applications for bonuses to veterans from post- 9/11 wars. The money is from a $25 million appropriation by the Legislature. Applications. There are three payment tiers:
> $600 for service between September 11, 2001, and August 30, 2021.
> $1,200 for recipients of medals.
> $2,000 for recipients of medals and suffered a disability.
