WHITEHALL, Wis. – Bail was set at $5 million for Todd Eric Gieck, who has been charged with chasing an Ettrick man down U. S Highway 53 and fatally shooting him unprovoked. Judge Thomas Clark set the unusually high bail. If Gieck posts bail, he would be barred from alcohol, nonprescription drugs, and firearms.
