LYNXILLE, Wis. — A mother and her two teenage sons were pronounced dead after a head-on collision with a semi-trailer rig on State Highway 35. The victims, in a sport utility van:
> Heather Kramer, 45, in the front passenger seat. She succumbed at a hospital.
> Benjamin Kramer, 16, the driver. He died apparently on impact.
> Simon Kramer, 13, in the backseat. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crawford County Sheriff Dale McCullick said the Kramer vehicle crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with the northbound semi. This was about 11:36 p.m. just north of Lynxvlle. The truck driver, Jaswant Hahi, 44, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, was unhurt. It was believed that the Kramers were heading home to Eastman, about eight miles away. A seven-mile stretch if Highway 35, the main route along the Mississippi River on the Wisconsin side, was closed seven hours between Lynxville and State Highway 171.
