WINONA, Minn. –An Illinois woman, Daeshanae Marquita-Valerie Montgomery, 25, of Highland Park, was arrested early Monday after a gun was fired in a West End apartment building during an argument. Police said a renter at the apartment, in the 1750 block of West Fifth Street, called about 3:40 a.m. that a shot had been fired from the front door. No one was hurt. The shooter then fled, the complainant said. Police recovered a 9mm casing and bullet. Four hours later Montgomery was arrested elsewhere in the neighborhood. She was held for burglary and assault with a dangerous weapon.
