WINONA, Minn. — Winona State University plans online classes over winter break in a mini-semester called “J term.” Classes run from December 11 to January 10. The university’s chief academic officer, Darrell Newton, said J Term can help students who may be feeling behind or who are looking for an opportunity to fast track their graduation. These online courses are also open to outside students and adult learners, he said.
