FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. – A driver who died in a head-on collision between Fountain City and Cochrane last week was 16-year-old Isabelle Mae Steinmetz, classmates confirmed. She died apparently on impact. The collision was February 10 on U.S. Highway 35. Her name had been withheld without explanation by Buffalo County Sheriff Michael Osmond. Still a week later the sheriff had not released the name.
