Parochial school rubble. Demolition of the St. Stan’s parochial school is far along on Winona’s East End. Parish leaders have an opportunity to create an appropriate park-like setting for the gorgeous but formerly hemmed-in basilica. The school, built in the 1950s, was an architectural misfit.
