PLAINVIEW, Minn. – The owner of a 24/7 gym, Brandon Reiter, launched an online defense fund to resist a state lawsuit to shut down the gym temporarily due to the COVID pandemic. Reiter claims the government’s shut-down order, which applies statewide, is unreasonable and unfair. His online statement: “Brandon is the owner of Plainview Wellness Center, newly engaged, and an eight-year veteran of the American Army. And because he is merely trying to save his life’s dream of running a gym and provide the necessities of life for himself, the governor and attorney general here in Minnesota are suing him to shut him down. The injustice of this all is breathtaking. But the story isn’t over, and Walz and Ellison don’t realize that they aren’t just trying to crush a little business owner, they are going after the people of Minnesota. And we will not stand for this any longer. So please support Brandon, and if you own a business that is shut down, consider opening it up immediately.”
