No students at risk. A maintenance outbuilding at the Winona Middle School was damaged by fire, heat smoke. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The building, at 1300 block of Bundy Boulevard, is used only by maintenance staff as a workshop. It was unoccupied. This was about 5:45 p.m. The cause was not determined immediately.
