WINONA, Minn. – The Kiwanis Sunrise Club gave up on its Christmas tree pick-up this year because COVID has sidelined too many members. Normally the club fields 90 volunteers for the project. Typically the club collects 500 trees. The club secretary, Neil Broadwater, suggested disposing of trees at the Goodview Compost Site, 4675 Theurer Boulevard, or the Winona Farm, 22501 East Burns Road, from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, January 9.
