WINONA. Minn. — Michael L. Hengel Jr., 88, of Winona, whose passions include barbershop quartets, died at home. He sang 53 years with the Winona Barbershopperz. He was a founder of the Misterssippis and several other quartets. He was especially remembered for his booming bass rendition of “Little Teapot.”
