ROCHESTER, Minn. – Almost every 2020 Rochester Tech nursing graduate passed state board exams on the first try. Of 113 grads from the two-year associate degree program, 97.4% passed. Of grads in practical nursing grads, 38 made it the first time, also for a 97.4% pass rate. Susan Jansen, associate nursing dean, said that only five associate-degree nursing programs in the state achieved such a high-pass rate. Despite all the challenges this year, the students adapted well, Jansen said.
