OWATONNA, Minn. – Police were keeping an eye on a home in the 800 block of Willowbrook Street Northeast. It was a check on a counterfeiting case. They spotted a suspicious car. They driver gave them a false name and went inside, which led them back to the home and a search. In the basement, an officer spotted a wooden box with a pile of clothing and blankets — with shoes sticking out. Connected to the shoes was Steven Un curled up in a fetal position under a blanket. Un was arrested without incident. He was jailed for Dakota County authorities, who wanted him on a counterfeiting warrant.
