ST. PAUL, Minn. – There’s another firm signal that Governor Tim Walz plans to seek re-election. His campaign announced the hiring of Alana Petersen as a senior adviser. Petersen managed U.S. Senator Tina Smith’s 2018 campaign and was a senior adviser to President Joe Biden’ 2020 campaign in Minnesota.
Petersen. A 1991 UM-Morris graduate. She immersed herself in Minnesota politics on the Washington staff of Congressman David Minge beginning n 1998.
