CADOTT, Wis. – A tornado that moved across southern Chippewa County, east of Eau Claire, about 8 p.m. had winds of 85 mph, the National Weather Service said. There was minimal damage. The tornado’s path was on the ground roughly two miles with a 200-yard swath. The Weather Service rated the tornado EF0, its lowest category.
