MINNEAPOLIS — The regional television network known as Fox Sports North is undergoing a name change – and a new look — in yet another ownership change. The giant Sinclair Broadcasting Group, of Baltimore, whose main enterprise is a 193-television chain, is the new owner. The new name: Bally Sports North. The name is part of a marketing agreement with Bally casinos. The network still will carry the Minnesota Twins, Timberwolves, Lynx and Wild. The Fox-Sinclair deal involves 21 regional sports networks. The deal has been in the works since 2019.
