ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Rochester man was sentenced to 41 months in prison for participating in a 2019 shooting that left the victim paralyzed from the neck down. There was a plea deal. Abdirahman Abdullahi, 28, bargained for dismissal of first-degree and second-degree attempted murder charges and a first-degree assault charge. The sentencing was for second-degree assault. The shooting was in the hallway of the Meadow Park apartments in southeast Rochester. Another man, Iman Iman, 27, earlier pleaded guilty to a first-degree assault charge and been sent to prison for 12 years.
