LACROSSE, Wis. – The North Country Steak Buffet, often-packed at mealtime before the Co-Vidpandemic, plans to re-open in the spring, the owners said. The buffet closed temporarily just before Thanksgiving: “We are pressing pause on the chaos of 2020.” The restart is in collaboration of the new developers of nearby Bridgeview Plaza, the new announcement said. North Country was the last of the all-you-can-eat buffet genre in LaCrosse.
