AUSTIN, Minn. – After a five-day trial a jury convicted an Austin man of a brutal and bloody stabbing in July. Clifton Robinson, 40, was on trial for second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault. Sentencing was scheduled for July 16. Robinson was arrested after a victim, soaked in blood and internal organs hanging from his abdomen, stumbled up to a person on the street about 2 a.m. and asked for help.
