BUTLER, Wis. — Police have arrested a second person for a June homicide in Sparta and they’re looking for a third. Michael R. Hartmann, 38, of Milwaukee, was taken into custody Monday afternoon in the northwest Milwaukee suburb of Butler. Hartmann was held without bond in the in the Waukesha County Jail pending his return to Sparta. In Sparta, prosecutor Kevin Croninger has charged multiple counts against Hartmann. The charges include murder, armed robbery, and methamphetamine distribution. The charges are similar to those against Skenandore-Medina, who was arrested last week. Meanwhile, Sparta police have a cast a wide net for a third person whom they identify as Eric Borges, 37, of Milwaukee. Leads are being pursued in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Texas.
