MANKATO, Minn. – The loss of 12,000 hogs in a giant barn fire near Waseca will have little impact on pork prices, according to the the Minnesota Pork Producer Association said. David Preisler, the association’s chief executive, said the loss, although locally significant, is only a fraction of a percent from a statewide standpoint. “It isn’t going to have really an economic impact on the region or the state,” he said. Priesiler said the fire, of course, has a major impact of Woodville Farms production. The owners, he said, plan to rebuild.e
