WASHINGTON – The U.S. House voted 222-190 to create a select House committee to investigate the January 6 insurrection riot at the U.S. Capitol. The committee will have 13 members. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will have eight members, and Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy will appoint five.
