LACROSSE, Wis. – Two people were rescued after being stranded on logs while tubing down the La Crosse River near the Highway 16 bridge downstream from Valley View Mall. Fighters used a fire boat and a rapid-deployment craft to reach the tubers. This was about 8:15 p.m.
