THIELMAN, Minn. – A Rochester woman pillion-riding on a motorcycle was airlifted to a Rochester hospital after the cycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Jami Pillar Arrabal, 29, suffered life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said. The cycle, driven by James Kent Johnson, 42, of Eyota, was westbound on Highway 60 at County Road 4 three miles north of Zumbro River village of Thielman. Both Johnson and Arrabal were ejected. Johnson also was sent to a hospital. Both were wearing helmets, the Patrol said. The accident was about 10:30 p.m. The bike was a 19988 Harley-Davidson. Johnson had been drinking, the Patrol said.
