ROCHESTER, Minn. – Police took a man into custody peacefully at a South End hotel after a five-hour stand-off. Officers summoned a SWAT team to the Extended Stay America hotel about 3 p.m. when they were barred from a second floor room. There had been a report of domestic abuse and an agitated. possibly armed man. When the man surrendered about 8 o’clock , police found the woman in the room unharmed.
