WAUMANDEE, Wis. – A man on a four-wheeler hit a hole in the road and was propelled into a barbed wire fence. He was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries. Sheriff Michael Schmidtknecht declined to release the man’s identity immediately but said he was 59. The accident was about 3:30 p.m. on County Road U five miles north of Waumandee.
