HAGER CITY, Wis. – Republican Derrick Van Ordell, who lost to Kind in the 2020 election and who is running again, responded to Kind’s decision to retire and thanked Kind for his years of service. Van Ordell then added a political twist. In a prepared statement, he said the people in the Third Congressional District are ready for a change=:  “Our campaign has shown that the people are ready for a proven, tested leader in Washington who will stand up to Nancy Pelosi’s radical agenda, and ensure that our children and grandchildren will live in a safe and prosperous nation.”
