TREMPEALEAU, Wis. – A Trempealeau police officer was cited for failure to yield to another vehicle at a stop sign and causing a collision.  The officer himself was taken by ambulance to a LaCrosse hospital for minor injuries.  Police Chief Timothy Moen did not release the name of the officer. His department has two full-time officers and 10 part-timers. The accident was about 5:45 p.m. Moen said the investigation would be handled by the Trempealeau County sheriff out of Whitehall.
