WINONA, Minn. – The Fire Department called in all off-duty personnel for garage fire that threatened nearby structures in the 200 block of East King Street off Franklin. When the first crew arrived, about 6:25 p.m., flames had engulfed the garage and a roll-off trash bin and were reaching a nearby garage and vehicle. The fire was quelled with handlines. Police blocked off Franklin and King until firefighters declared all clear.
