WELCH, Minn. – A Welch man, Landon Erwin Williams, 34, was injured when two vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 61 nine miles west of Red Wing. Williams was taken to the Red Wing hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Deputies said that Williams was westbound on County Road 31 in a 2011 Chevrolet Colorado and James Edward Plucker, 69, of Red Wing, northbound on Highway 61 in a 2013 Toyota Avalon. Plucker was unhurt. The accident was about 6:10 a.m. Conditions were dry, deputies said.
